Following on from the extraordinary claims made by ex East 17 singer Brian Harvey, that their manager, Tom Watkins has raped the band's song writer, Tony Mortimer, Tony has refuted the claims via his twitter account @Tony_Mortimer.

Going viral, clocking up over a million views on TikTok, news of Brian Harvey's allegation that Tony Mortimer was raped by the band's manager, spread like wild fire.

But it wasn't long before the backlash began, and Brian Harvey's credibility was called into question. Asking the reasonable question as to whether it was Brian Harvey's story to tell.

Do you think Brian Harvey is out of order, for revealing Tom Watkins (allegedly) raped Tony Mortimer?

Harvey's credibility is being further called into doubt, following the claim made by Tony Mortimer that Brian Harvey still received thousands of pounds a year in royalties, something which Brian Harvey claims is not true.

"Brian still earns thousands a year in royalties. But don't let that ruin a good story though eh."

Its claimed by an interested commentator that Brian Harvey's girlfriend, glamour model and YouTube personality Nikki Lee, has been covering for him this whole time, by using her model business accounts to receive the royalties, without Brian Harvey having to declare it to the DWP.

"What is funny in whole situation is Brian actually still receives money from Tony via a solicitor to this very day, that is all kept quiet and even after Tony's generosity Brian still publicly calls him. Shocking stuff. Brian is about to be exposed soon with this."

Responding to a TikTok video by Michael-McDon in which its shown the songs of which Brian Harvey is paid royalties, Nikki Lee writes "Pathetic," to which Michael-Don replies, "just wait till it comes out what account they got paid into.🤫"

Nikki Lee says "Pathetic"

Even though Tony Mortimer denies anyone was raped in the band, there remains a common held belief that their manager Tom Watkins, who also managed such bands as Bros and The Pet Shop Boys, used the members of his manufactured boy bands as own personal sex toys.

"Its all about money and sex"

With more come-backs under his belt than even Bill Clinton, Brian Harvey remains the most controversial and outspoken member of the 1990's pop band.
