Brighton 2222 Project! Is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman coming to Moulsecoomb in Brighton?

The question on everyone’s lips, is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman coming to Moulsecoomb, in Brighton?

His Most Excellent Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

Is one of the most deprived neighbourhoods in the United Kingdom about to get an eye watering £21 Billion investment from the Saudi Kingdom?

Developed as a council estate in the 1920’ and 1930s, the now large suburb of Moulsecoomb is now home to the University of Brighton’s largest campus, is divided into three areas; North, East and South Moulsecoomb.

With a history of social deprivation and crime, Moulsecoomb is now ear-marked for a new state of the art, purpose built Film and TV studios, and a major new tourist attraction called Moulsecoomb Moon Base One, which simulates trips to the moon.

Built on the outskirts of Brighton, and using the Earthship Technology principles of Michael Reynolds, a new TV/Film studios and Moon Base tourist attraction, will form part of a bigger project including as its showcase feature, a King’s Crown shaped building built overlooking Brighton, at the entrance of a tunnel to the coast, a new pier to replace the now ruined West Pier, and a tunnel out to sea, to the UK’s first ever artificial island, floated miles of Brighton’s coast.

According to Parametric-Architecture.com, there are seven ongoing mega projects by the Saudi Arabia Kingdom, and Brighton’s 2222 Project, could be its eighth.

“Saudi Arabia is undergoing a series of megaprojects to make the country a dominant global economic force. Through massive investments as part of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, the kingdom is expanding its economy beyond oil, creating jobs, and elevating its position as a key trade and tourism destination.”

Saudi Arabia is investing billions of dollars into its megaprojects as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 plan to diversify the economy and improve public service sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, recreation, and tourism. The exact amount of investment is not clear, but some of the projects have been estimated to cost billions of dollars each.

Here are some examples of the estimated costs of some of the megaprojects:

The Line: The cost of this 170-kilometre-long, zero-carbon city has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant investment.
Neom: The cost of this large area of the country that has been earmarked for development has been estimated to be around $500 billion.
The Red Sea Project: The cost of this luxury tourism destination has been estimated to be around $10 billion.
Diriyah Gate: The cost of this cultural and lifestyle tourism destination has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant investment.
King Salman Energy Park: The cost of this 50-square-kilometre energy city has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant investment.
AlUla: The cost of transforming this heritage site into an international destination through the ‘Journey through Time’ masterplan has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant investment.
Trojena: The cost of this mixed-use development has not been disclosed.
Sindalah: The cost of this luxury resort has not been disclosed.
OXAGON: The cost of this mixed-use development has not been disclosed.
Amala: The cost of this wellness resort has not been disclosed.
The Mirror Line: The cost of this 105-mile-long city has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant investment.
Coral Bloom: The cost of this concept designed by Foster + Partners for Shura Island, which is part of The Red Sea Project, has not been disclosed.
King Salman Park: The cost of this 13.4-square-kilometer park has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant investment.
Amaala: The cost of this luxury tourism destination has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant investment.
Qiddiya: The cost of this 334-square-kilometre entertainment city has been estimated to be around $8 billion.

Overall, the total investment into all of the megaprojects is likely to be in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

Stop giving sweets to children this Halloween!

"We Must Stop Being Pedophiles at Halloween and Stop Giving Sweets to Children."

Halloween is a holiday that is supposed to be fun and joyful, a time of costumes, trick-or-treating, and celebration. But for some, it has become a time to prey on innocent children, and it is time to stop.

As part of the tradition of Halloween, children go door to door in costumes, knocking and asking for sweets such as candy or chocolates. It is common for adults to offer sweets to children as a way of showing their kindness and generosity.

But this practice can also create an opportunity for pedophiles to target and take advantage of young, unsuspecting children. While most adults are responsible and careful when giving treats to children, there are also some who have other, more nefarious intentions. By offering sweets to children in this way, we are creating a dangerous situation that puts children at risk.

It is our responsibility and duty to protect children from harm and abuse. Let us make this Halloween a safer and more enjoyable holiday for everyone.
