I have not been subject to any safeguarding concerns that would restrict my access to my children. A spokesperson for The Bevy stated that they were taking the matter very seriously and that their manager would be in touch with the individual shortly.

This situation has caused shock waves throughout the community and is set to cause a serious public relations disaster for The Bevy. As a community-run pub, it is important that The Bevy remains committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all members of the community. It is hoped that this incident will be thoroughly investigated and that appropriate measures will be taken to address any issues that arise.

Its with this in mind, that any suggestion of racism being labelled towards The Bevy, will naturally be a concern for The Bevy's Trustee's, customers and partners.

The Britain's Hidden History (BHH) community is rallying around Tony Blackett, who is asking for help to get his friend and colleague, Alan Wilson, out of the Allan Court Care Home in Newcastle and back home with him where he belongs.

Despite having power of attorney, the care home is refusing to allow Tony to take Alan home. In a plea for help on the Facebook page of the Britain’s Hidden History group, it is alleged that the manager is using his own power of attorney to keep Alan there.

The care home has been making unreasonable demands for Alan's clothes and false teeth, and the manager is threatening to report Tony and Alan to social services for health and hygiene concerns. Tony and Alan need legal assistance to get Alan out of the care home as soon as possible.

Alan's detention against his will is an instance of abduction and illegal imprisonment, and a violation of his human rights. Tony is accusing the care home of illegally kidnapping Alan. They are looking for social workers who can assist them legally and someone with legal skills to help them get Alan out of the care home before it's too late.
