Surprise Surprise, Gaddafi was a paedophile pervert too.

In a sensational new book called 'Gaddafi's Harem', the former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi has been exposed as a predatory sexual attacker.

According to French journalist Annick Cojean, Gaddafi would pick and choose his victims from schools across Libya and upon taking them back to his personal harem, would rape his victims on a daily basis.

One such girl called Soraya was 15 when she first encountered the dictator as she presented him with flowers at her school in Sirte. Gaddafi patted her head in a fatherly gesture, as a sign to his guards to say “I'll take this one”.

The following day, guards snatched Soraya and took her to a remote encampment where she was first given a blood test (to ensure she was disease free), dressed in sexy lingerie and presented to Gaddafi as his latest victim.

Gaddafi assaulted her so badly that she needed medical treatment. As french journalist Annick Cojean says in her article printed in the free Metro newspaper, “Women who have been raped in Libya won't even discuss it with their families.”

For the next five years Soraya was locked in a small room in the basement of Gaddafi's Tripoli base, given porn to 'learn from' and force-feed alcohol and drugs. Soraya was raped and beaten on an almost daily basis and personally witnessed Gaddafi rape many others, boys and men included.

One such woman fell pregnant and had Gaddafi's baby in secret.

Mansour Daw, Gaddafi's former security chief, told the French journalist Annick Cojean that Gaddafi's perversions were so well known within the regime that officials sent their daughters abroad to be educated to avoid him.

Gaddifi was said to be renowned for trying to woo top performers, TV presenters and wives of foreign dignitaries with gifts. “He had his everyday prey but would also target this more precious kind,” says Cojean, “He used sex to humiliate, punish and reward. Rape was a weapon of war and sex was a weapon of power for him.”

Gaddafi's perverted sexual tastes would have raised questions in Embassies across the world. The International Community evidently choose to overlook his behaviour and according to some reports, may have even joined in with Gaddafi's perverted acts.

“Heads of State, would talk about meeting Gaddafi and his guard with a kind of fascination,” says Cojean. What happened when the glare of public view was turned off is open to speculation. With serious allegations of sexual crimes, including paedophilia, rape, incest, murder and Satanic sacrifice made against prominent British and foreign politicians and Heads of State, in this article here and another here, the question remains, who joined in with Gaddafi?

As Cojean continues, “He'd set up meetings in tent with camels outside and the guards on display. I am surprised people didn't question who these women were. It was obvious what he was doing – the guard was the public face of his harem.

As Cojean reminds the reader in her article promoting her book 'Gaddafi's Harem', “The entire world has been kind of an accomplice. We need to recognise these women's suffering.”

Annick Cojean's book is now freely available in Libya. In February, a group of demonstrators in Tripoli held copies as they demanded a law to protect women who have been raped. “Soraya's voice has become louder and louder,” says Cojean, “It is now possible to face the truth.”

Speaking Wednesday at the United Nations General Assembly in 2009, Gaddafi implied that Israel may have plotted to kill Kennedy in 1963 because he allegedly wanted to launch a probe into its clandestine nuclear program.

“Jack Ruby, an Israeli, killed Lee Harvey Oswald,” the Libyan leader was quoted by the translator as saying. “Why did this Israeli kill Harvey? Ruby later died mysteriously. The whole world should know that Kennedy wanted to investigate the actions of the Israeli nuclear reactor in Dimona.”

Gaddafi got what he deserved.
