The Illusion of Righteousness: What Ivor Caplin’s Downfall Teaches Us About Virtue Signalling.

Alleged Predator Paedophile Ivor Caplin

The recent exposure of Ivor Caplin, the former Labour MP for Hove, by a group of paedophile hunters has sent shockwaves through the political and social landscape. For many, Caplin was the epitome of public service and moral uprightness. He held himself up as a man of principle, a defender of the vulnerable, and a champion of higher ideals. However, his actions, as revealed by his accusers, paint a starkly different picture—one of hypocrisy and moral decay.

This case forces us to confront an uncomfortable truth: those who loudly proclaim their virtue and position themselves as paragons of morality often have the darkest secrets. Time and again, history has shown us that the louder someone asserts their goodness, the more likely they are compensating for internal contradictions.

The Façade of Virtue.

There is a certain allure in the public perception of virtue. It provides a cloak of credibility, an unquestioned trust that shields individuals from scrutiny. By presenting themselves as the “great and good,” such individuals can navigate society with minimal challenge, all while hiding their true nature. This is not a phenomenon exclusive to Caplin. From politicians to religious leaders, we’ve seen countless examples of this pattern.

Take, for instance, the high-profile cases of clergy who preached piety while engaging in predatory behaviour, or politicians who espoused family values while embroiled in scandal. These individuals rely on their manufactured image to disarm their critics and gain access to vulnerable people, knowing society often looks the other way when confronted with inconvenient truths about its so-called heroes.

The Psychology of Hypocrisy.

Why do some individuals who claim the moral high ground end up being the worst offenders? Psychologists suggest several factors:

1. Cognitive Dissonance: These individuals live in constant conflict between their public persona and private behaviour. Their self-righteous proclamations are an attempt to soothe their own guilt and justify their actions.

2. Power and Impunity: The higher their perceived moral standing, the less likely they are to face scrutiny. This power can embolden them, leading to increasingly egregious behaviour.

3. Virtue as a Shield: Presenting oneself as virtuous creates a protective barrier. Society often hesitates to challenge those it views as moral leaders, granting them an undue presumption of innocence.

Caplin’s Lesson for Society.

Ivor Caplin’s exposure underscores a crucial lesson: moral character cannot be determined by public declarations or positions of authority. True virtue is evident in actions, not words or appearances. It is imperative for society to shed its blind faith in the self-proclaimed righteous and adopt a more critical lens, regardless of status or reputation.

Caplin’s case also raises broader questions about accountability. How many others in positions of power or influence are hiding similar secrets? And how can we as a society prevent such individuals from exploiting their authority to harm others?

Moving Forward.

To truly address this issue, we must demand greater transparency and accountability from those in positions of power. We must also foster a culture that values humility and authenticity over virtue signalling. Most importantly, we must remember that no one is above scrutiny, no matter how righteous they appear.

The fall of Ivor Caplin is not just a personal disgrace; it is a wake-up call for society. Let us heed its lessons and ensure that we do not allow the façade of righteousness to blind us to the reality lurking beneath.

Collusion to Corrupt Democracy.

Following on from the hugely successful and well received statement analysation of Prince Charles, in which I concluded him did have a case to answer, (in relation to allegations of paedophilia,) I now present a similar styled assessment of a certain public figure of notable public acclaim, Labour Ring Master, Mr Simon Burgess.

Simon Burgess
And why should I write a Profile/CV analysis of a certain Mr Simon Burgess, the Labour Legend of Brighton’s Labour Party?
Well that’s for me to know and for you to find out, (which will be soon enough, so don’t fret.)
There is no need for anyone to get their knickers in a twist, all I’m doing is analysing a public document, which Simon Burgess wrote as his Labour Party profile, and choose to make publicly available.

The Downfall of New Labour

The Parliamentary Labour Party (PLP) have sent out the message loud and clear, 'Parliament is no place for good and decent men or women.'

Jeremy Corbyn
I'm watching from the back back back benches in total shock and horror, as the Labour Party slaughter their leader for no other reason than being a good and decent man.

Call me naïve if you wish, perhaps I am; but I was always under the impression that the opposition party were in opposition to oppose the policies and ideals of the governing party.

Oh how wrong am I?

I used to joke that they are all in it together; both the Conservatives and Labour. Oh how right am I?

According to 'They Work For You' website, Angela Eagle; Jeremy Corbyn's rival for the Labour leadership voted for:

·  a stricter asylum system
·  university tuition fees increasing from £1125 per year to up to £3000 per year
·  the introduction of ID cards
·  90 days without charge
·  for the invasion of Iraq
·  against an investigation into the Iraq war
·  the retention of Trident nuclear weapons
·  air strikes on Islamic State in Iraq
·  air strikes on Islamic State in Syria

I expect this voting record would mirror that of Hilary Benn too.
What is the use of having an opposition when their voting record matches that of their opposition?
This is the beauty of Jeremy Corbyn and the reason why 60% of grass-root Labour members voted for him. They voted for him because he walks the walk and talks the talks. He votes against the Nasty Nazi Conservative Government and does so consistently.
I find it incredible that the bully boys and girls of the PLP aren't letting him fight a general election.
The evidence suggests that he'll win with a landslide.
I've personally voted for every political party (except the Liberal Democrats), during my 27 years of voting eligibility. I got so disillusioned with politicians breaking their promises, that I ran as an independent candidate in the Brighton Kemptown 2015 General Election, in which I came last with 69 votes! (This taught me a lesson, that honest men have no place in Parliament,) but even I'll vote Labour under Jeremy Corbyn, and I'm your Average Joe with the same mind-set as a million other Average Joe's in Great Britain.
The Travesty of Democracy
We are being taken for a ride, and the 172 Labour MP's who voted against Jeremy Corbyn in his vote of confidence are the culprits.
"For heaven's sake man, go!"
Watching the venom of David Cameron looking Jeremy Corbyn in the eye, and hollering at him from across the Common's dispatch box, to "for heaven's sake man, go;" gives the impression that its David Cameron leading the revolt and the Labour party following his lead.
My golden rule when it comes to politics is to say 'no' when a politician tells us to say 'yes'; that its 'bad' if a politician tells us its 'good', and to 'go' when a politician tells us to 'stay'.
It was for this reason that I didn't vote in the EU referendum. One nasty arse-hole telling me to 'stay' and another telling me to 'go'. Fuck that for a game of dominoes.
It’s with this in mind that when David Cameron says its "in my party's interest for him to sit there, it's not in the national interest," what he actually means is that "it's in the national interest for Jeremy Corbyn to be the leader of the Labour party because he'll win the next general election with a landslide and that it's in his party's interest that he goes."
These politicians really are the lowest of the low; dirty rotten liars and back stabbers, paedophiles, fraudsters and murderers.
All this will come out.... It’s already common knowledge in the Truth Movement and once the news breaks on mainstream news there will be a revolution within 24 hours.
As I've already said, call me naïve, but I thought Jeremy Corbyn was a cunning plan by minions of Queen Elizabeth II to appease the British public and throw them a crumb to perpetuate the myth that democracy is alive and kicking in the United Kingdom.
After-all he appears to have done nothing about the child-abuse scandal in his North Islington constituency.
Jeremy Corbyn turns a blind eye to child-abuse
David Cameron
I'm changing my mind now. Perhaps Jeremy Corbyn is the real deal; a good and decent man who slipped through the net of Parliamentary vice, perversion and immorality?
Either way, (and for what it’s worth), I wish Jeremy Corbyn stays the course and out-flanks his rebel MP's.
If you want to vote for austerity, join the nasty party. If you want to renew the Trident missile system, join the nasty party, if you want to perpetuate war, poverty and child-abuse; you know what to do - (All together now---) Join the Nasty Nazis Conservative party.
There is always a silver lining in everything and the silver lining in the Jeremy Corbyn rebellion story, is that the nasty conservatives masquerading as Labour MP's have been exposed.
We have all known that the Labour party has been infiltrated by the nasty Tories since Tony Blair came to power. That's why the Labour party was called New Labour.
Thankfully the downfall of the New Labour Party is in progress and out of the fallen bricks and mortar will rise the Old Labour. Proper opposition with proper values and principles.

Proper Labour, not this wishy washy bullshit; men with girl names, stabbing their bosses in the back...

HARRIET HARMAN DEFENDS HER HONOUR.

Harriet Harman, the deputy leader of the UK's Labour Party has come out, full force, in defending her honour against paedophile “innuendo.”

Being the first to do so, Harriet Harman tackles every allegation head on by issuing a point-by-point rebuttal to each “horrific allegations.”

Taking the lead from her boss, Ed Miliband, Harriet Harman attacked the Daily Mail for launching a “politically-motivated smear campaign” against her and her husband, Jack Dromey, over claims they were linked to a paedophile campaign in the 1970s.

Harriet Harman said in a statement: "This is not the first time the Daily Mail has made this horrible and untrue allegation;” making one wonder why she choose now to defend her honour?

As she continued in her public statement, “And, this is not the first time the Daily Mail has attacked me. The editor and proprietor of the Daily Mail are entitled to their political views and they are of course entitled to oppose what I stand for but they are not entitled to use their newspaper to smear me with innuendo because they disagree with me politically and hate my values.”

While some commentators are pointing to the carefully worded statement, in particular the fact that she sees these allegations as “political” rather than moral, and again accusing the Daily Mail of “hate” against her values, rather than morals.

“Beneath contempt.”

In a series of articles, the Daily Mail had accused Harman and her husband Jack Dromey of being apologists for child sex abuse, having a relaxed attitude to paedophilia and wanting to water down child pornography laws when they were officials at the National Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL), which at one point was affiliated to the PIE.

Jack Dromey said in defiance, “Sexual abuse of children is evil and I have always viewed paedophiles and any group associated with them as evil. During my time on the NCCL executive, I was at the forefront of repeated public condemnations of PIE and their despicable views.”

Harriet Harman's rebuttals one by one.

  • She supported the equalisation of the age of consent for gay and heterosexual sex, but never campaigned for the age of consent to be lowered to 10.

  • She rejected the idea that she opposed the law on incest, saying the 1976 document referred to by the Daily Mail was written before she started to work at the organisation.

  • On the allegation that she was seeking to water down a proposed ban on child pornography, Harriet Harman said the document she signed makes it clear that the NCCL “deplores the exploitation of children whether in the form of use in commercial pornography or as victims of sexual assaults”. It simply argued for amendments to stop parents being criminalised for taking pictures of their children on the beach or in the bath, the use of pictures in sex education being criminalised and the use of the word "obscene" instead of "indecent" as that could be considered too broad, including page 3 of the Sun.

  • She said anyone could apply to join the NCCL on payment of a fee and the PIE was just one of nearly 1,000 affiliated organisations.

Ed Miliband stands by his deputy.

Labour sources said Ed Miliband had looked into the claims made by the Daily Mail and regards them as “complete nonsense.”

A senior source in the Labour party said, “ There is a strong feeling in the party that this is a politically-motivated campaign by the Daily Mail.”

When the Alternative Media works with the Mass Media.

Harriet Harman's bold move to face these allegations head on, is a direct result from the collaboration between the alternative and mass media.

Posted on every Truthers website is a comprehensive list of alleged paedophile MP's, including Kenneth Clarke, Leon Brittan, Gordon Brown, Peter Mandelson and Tony Blair, (to name but only a very few.)

The actions of Harriet Harman demonstrate that the relentless campaigning and ever increasing readership of the alternative media, is driving the type of stories which the mass media are now exploring with more vigour.

While Harriet Harman hasn't commenced legal action against the Daily Mail, she has defended her honour publically replying to these “horrific allegations.”

Lets just hope that her Right Honourable Gentlemen do the same and defend their honour against paedophile allegations too. Their continuing silence only adds to their perceived guilt.
