Matt Taylor Referred to Sussex Police by Brighton and Hove Bus Company

Controversial writer and broadcaster Matt Taylor from Brighton, has been referred to Sussex police for further investigation, following a complaint by Brighton and Hove Buses.

Unclear as to what the charges are, Matt Taylor called into the St John Police station in Brighton, where after checking on the police database, was assured no complaints have been received and no investigations are currently ongoing.

Having been arrested on numerous occasions throughout 2017-2018, for making malicious videos, making and processing child porn, stalking, harassment and breaking bail conditions, (none of which resulted in any criminal charges,) Taylor 48 from Brighton, claims to have developed serious mental health issues and is currently signed off work suffering from extreme anxiety.

Delving deeper we learn Matt Taylor initially made a complaint to Brighton and Hove Buses, following an altercation on the No' 14C bus to Peacehaven, where Taylor was scheduled to pick up his 9 year old son from school.

The complaint to Brighton and Hove Buses, is reproduced here and is self explanatory.

COMPLAINT TO BRIGHTON AND HOVE BUSES - Emailed on 22 July 2019.

On Friday 19 July 2019 I travelled on the 14C bus (vehicle 637) from Brighton to Peacehaven.

While on Eastern Road Brighton, adjacent to Lidl store, the bus stopped and remained stationary for the next 15-20 minutes.

I have been meaning to write to Brighton and Hove Buses to recommend customers on the buses are notified of any delays, such as driver changeovers.

In the same way that the bus voice assistant notifies us of each approaching stop, I have been meaning to recommend that an announcement is made whenever a delay happens, for example:

"The bus is changing drivers, and will be 2 minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience, and if you have time constraints, we recommend you change to another bus…. (or something like that!)"

The point I wanted to make is that when unexpected delays happen, the customers on the bus should be told of what the nature of the delay is and the expected time the delay will take.

So it was with this in mind that on Friday 19 July at about 2.30pm, that the bus stopped. I first thought that the bus was changing drivers, but then the bus shut down completely, and I didn’t know what was going on???

I was on-route to pick my 9 year old son from his primary school in Peacehaven. His mother was unavailable and his Grandad was unavailable too.

So, when the bus shut down, I was getting anxious because I COULD NOT BE LATE to pick up my son from school.

I’ve been suffering from anxiety for the last two years, having been accused of harassing and stalking the Sussex police and crime commissioner. Ultimately no evidence was found and no criminal charges were made, but between 2017-2018, I was arrested by Sussex police for 7 times in relation to this, and on every occasion, I was meant to be picking up my children.

Whenever I’m late now, it's only natural for my kids to think I’ve been arrested by the police again.

So, after 10-15 minutes of sitting on the top deck of the 14C bus wondering what the hell is going on, I went downstairs to find out.

Most customers had already left the bus, and I asked other customers what was going on?

No one knew. It was at this point I said, “Well it’ll be good to be told what the hell is going on,” to which other customers nodded their heads in agreement.

I then went to the bus driver to ask what was happening; I remember saying, “It would be better if we were notified of what’s going on.”

To which driver 4901, turned to me, clearly stressed and under-pressure, throwing up his arms and replying, “I’M DOING THE BEST I CAN.”

'OK, OK', I thought, 'I was only asking.'

Driver 4901, was clearly under pressure and wasn’t dealing with the stress of the moment.

I replied, “Yeah ok, don’t get angry, I was only asking what’s happening. You should have told us of the situation and just let us know.”

It was at this point that the driver shooed me away, and other customers starting berating me for shouting at the driver.

“I was not shouting at the driver, I was just saying that it would be good to be told what was happening.”

It was left to another customer to explain that the doors had jammed, and that the option now was to drive 2 minutes to a local bus garage and to wait for another bus.

Due to the time restraints, I decided to depart bus 14C on Eastern Road, and try and catch a 12 bus along the seafront road.

CCTV footage will show that I did not SHOUT or cause an unnecessary scene. I maintain I simply recommended to the driver that we (the customers) should have been notified sooner of the problem with the bus, and given alternative options to carry on our journey.

It was the driver who reacted angrily to my question, (somewhat) understandable due to the stress and strain of the situation.

Do you train your drivers to be calm while under these types of situations?

I then walked to the bus stop overlooking the Marina, but as no buses were coming, I decided to walk further along to the bus stop at Marina Gate, allowing me to get on a 14 bus, if one came along.

Thankfully, at about 3 pm, the same 14C (which has jammed doors), was back on the road and moving.

I was so pleased, because while I would be late, I wouldn’t be too late.

But to my astonishment, driver 4901 refused me entry onto the bus at Marine Gate.

I had purchased a £7.00 network saver which allowed me to travel to Peacehaven.

Even though the driver said I wasn’t allowed on, I shooed him away in the same manner, he shooed me way when I recommended the customers are better notified of all delays.

So once I was on, the other bus customers told me to get off, in violation of shouting at the driver early. Which I maintain I did not.

I was stressed myself having to pick up my son from school. We were all naturally agitated. I did not shout at the driver, the driver shouted at me.

We had planned for my children to spend the weekend with me, and it was imperative that I picked him up on time.

Due to the hostility of the customers, and the drivers threat that the police will be called if I did not get off the bus, I got off the bus.

I now understand that customers are not allowed on the bus due to the driver’s discretion.

Does this mean that if I get on any bus driven by driver 4901, I will not be allowed on again?

Ultimately I arrived at my son’s school at 3.45pm. I found my son in tears and distress. He naturally thought I had been arrested and that our planned weekend together was ruined.

This is down to driver 4901… And I will never forgive him for doing so. I don't care for myself, but you caused my son immense alarm, distress and fear. THAT'S CHILD ABUSE....

I explained to him that I had to get to school to pick up my 9 year old son, and that I had no one else available to pick him up. Driver 4901 did not care. He refused to drive the bus and as such agitated the other customers to get me off the bus, so their journey could continue.

This raises many questions:

What training do you provide for drivers to deal with stressful situations?

Will driver 4901 stop me from getting on any other bus he may be driving?

Driver 4901 took it on himself to punish me, for allegedly shouting at him.

CCTV will show the chaotic situation of the situation and will show everyone on the bus as agitated and stressed.

It was driver 4901 who created this situation, by failing to notify the customers of the situation and of the possible delays.

This is down to Brighton and Hove Buses, because you have a duty of care to train your drivers to deal with situations like this and you have an obligation to ensure customers can travel and continue to travel.

I DID NOT SHOUT.

I asked him that it would be better that he, as the driver, told the customers the situation, instead of letting us wait around not knowing what was going on.

As a direct result of driver 4901’s unilateral decision to prevent me on the bus, resulted in immense fear, alarm and distress to my 9 year old son. CHILD ABUSE.....

Is that acceptable to you? Because it’s not acceptable to me...

I demand driver 4901 is sacked. Alternatively I want free bus travel for myself and my two children for the next year.

CCTV will show I did not make a scene or cause any distress to fellow customers. I don’t know whether audio is recorded, but if it was, it will prove that I did not shout at the driver. If anyone shouted, it was the driver when he replied to me, “I’m doing all I can.”

I want driver 4901 dismissed, alternatively I’ll be happy to accept a free travel card for myself and two children for a year.

The actions of driver 4901 has caused myself and my children immense personal harm, fear, alarm and distress.

CHILD ABUSE....

Yours sincerely,
Matthew Taylor
Brighton

Having had no answer from Brighton and Hove Buses, Taylor emailed them asking for an update, only to be told that the matter has been passed through to Sussex police.

Claiming not to have received any email on the 4th September, Matt Taylor has been left in fear, alarm and distress as when Sussex police will next conduct a dawn raid.

A thorn in the side of Sussex police after declaring himself an independent candidate in the 2012 PCC elections, Matt Taylor has gone on to become a controversial figure in the Truth Movement,  as the editor of Guerrilla Democracy News, exposing police corruption via his blog MrX Investigations and a popular Youtuber with his comedy channel Matt Taylor TV.

A hate figure in the satanic Hoaxtead Research Community, bets have been placed on whether Taylor would be sentenced to jail.

As of today, the ex Royal Military Policeman  has yet to be jailed and maintains he has a clean civilian criminal record.
